This tree was turned by hand on the lathe from a single piece of glued spruce with mirrored grain. This produces a wonderful texture and prevents any subsequent splitting of the wood. A special wax finish gives the tree its characteristic green colour and at the same time brings out the exceptional beauty of the grain.
